Some of the perks to living in a city are the array of options for shopping, dining and entertainment… and, of course, a good cup of coffee! And when it comes to great coffee shops, you don’t need to look any further than Tulsa. With a wide variety of flavor, methods and locations there are many coffee shops that are a happy retreat for the avid coffee lover.

The Coffee House on Cherry Street, also known as CHoCS, is a Cherry Street staple. Tucked in among yummy restaurants and little boutiques, CHoCS offers delicious coffee and specialty drinks for any range of coffee connoisseur. Not only that, they also have a great food and bakery menu to pair with your cup of brew and a cozy patio to overlook the hustle and bustle of Cherry Street.

Another great Tulsa favorite is Shades of Brown, located in Brookside. Shades of Brown provides a cozy atmosphere for enjoying your coffee or seasonal drink while working, relaxing or meeting with a friend. In addition to great coffee, Shades also features rotating artwork, music and craft goods for purchase including pottery, jewelry, coasters and stationary.

Foolish Things Coffee Co is a downtown coffee shop with an inviting atmosphere, tasty menu and quality coffee. They strive to serve some of the finest coffee in a number of different brewing methods for your choosing. For those eager to learn more, they also offer various coffee classes throughout the year, and if you’re looking for a location to host an event they have a beautiful venue available to rent.

Another downtown coffee shop (actually two downtown to be exact!) is Topeca Coffee. Located in the historic Mayo Hotel and Hyatt Regency, these coffee shops offer a rare taste at “seed to cup” coffee. Through the “seed to cup” process, Topeca is able to have more control over the coffee bean from the moment it is planted in the ground to the moment its flavor reaches your lips- which means more flavor for you! Not only that, but Topeca also offers regular “coffee geek classes” for the coffee lover that want to learn more.

Finally, one of Tulsa’s newest coffee shops, Cirque Coffee has a youthful and fresh atmosphere perfect for any coffee nerd. Located in the Pearl District and within walking distance to Centennial Park, this coffee shop will be a major competition to all of Tulsa’s existing coffee shops offering quality coffee brewed in a variety different ways from a regular pour over to your favorite latte.

These are just five of the many coffee shops that help make Tulsa a great place for any coffee lover. We encourage you to check them out and get to tasting!
